Neighborhood
Restoration Group, Inc.
Neighborhood Restoration Group is a network of people living,
working, and ministering in
Muncie
's
poorer neighborhoods. The NRG community is relocating, becoming
participants in the neighborhoods, and being connectors for resources for
those with few choices and options in life.
James asks what good it does to see someone in physical need and
only give a courtesy, "God bless you." NRG is also
starting service-oriented businesses to employ, train, and disciple those
struggling with employment. As
the NRG team works at rebuilding lives, a long-term goal of the network is
rebuilding homes. Local substandard housing and unsafe living
conditions is an embarrassment to the Church living in the most affluent
time in history. NRG wants to partner with Christ and others in the
correction of this problem. The
needed change in
Delaware
County
will take years to accomplish. That need is met by the long-term
commitment given by Neighborhood Restoration Group to this community.
Drop in some evening to one of our homes for Bible study,
book study, dinner, or prayer.
